Undergraduate Admissions Requirements

Below, you will find details about applying to one of DigiPen’s undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) programs. Be sure to choose the correct degree, as the requirements and additional materials (such as personal statements and portfolios) are specific to each program. Please contact our Office of Admissions if you need clarification on any of the application requirements.

Spring 2025 Priority Application Deadline

Submit your application by this date to guarantee your spot (upon acceptance) in the Spring 2025 incoming class.

December 1, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Spring 2025 Final Application Deadline

Complete and submit your application to be considered for the Spring 2025 incoming class.

Spring 2025 enrollment is available for the following undergraduate programs:

Students enrolling in the spring will be expected to take courses full time during the Summer 2025 semester and rejoin the regular fall and spring semester rhythm for the 2025‑26 academic year.

No Fee November

We are currently waiving the $60 fee for admissions applications for Fall 2025 semester.

This application fee waiver applies to those who have started an application between November 1 and November 30, 2024. If you have applied but haven’t paid the fee yet, please contact us at admissions@digipen.edu with any questions about No Fee November.

Fall 2025 Priority Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for greater access to our first-come, first-served scholarships. Most applications are received by this date.

April 1, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2025 General Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date to receive an admission decision before our May 1 DigiPen Housing deadline. Only enrolled students may apply for housing.

July 1, 2025 by 11:59 p.m. PT

Fall 2025 Final Application Deadline

Submit your completed application by this date for the remaining spots in our Fall 2025 incoming class. Your application and all materials must be submitted by this date.

Bachelor of Science (All)
See the requirements for all Bachelor of Science programs, including:

- BS in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation
BA in Game Design
The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Game Design program includes a design portfolio requirement unique to the program.
BA in Music and Sound Design
The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Design program requires the submission of a portfolio, including pre-recorded performances.
BFA in Digital Art and Animation
The application to the Bachelor of Arts in Digital Art and Animation degree includes the submission of an art portfolio produced by the applicant.
