Shuttle Service
DigiPen’s shuttle service connects the campus to nearby DigiPen Housing units. The service is free and only open to DigiPen students, faculty, and staff. To use the service, you must request the shuttle through our online calendar. You should be prepared to present your booking confirmation email and DigiPen ID badge when boarding the shuttle.
Bikes and Scooters
When riding a bike or scooter to campus, we ask that you not bring them indoors. We recommend using a u-lock to secure your bike or scooter to the racks conveniently located around campus. Helmets are also available for purchase in the Dragon Shop.
Public Transportation
Two public transit companies service the Seattle metropolitan area: King County Metro Transit and Sound Transit. Both services offer routes with stops near DigiPen’s Redmond campus. To calculate your route, you can use King County’s Trip Planner, view the Sound Transit route schedules, or use Google Maps, which incorporates information from both services.
Fare Rates
Metro/Sound Transit has a two-zone system. The city of Seattle occupies one zone, while the remainder of King County occupies the second zone. Depending on how many zones are involved in your trip and when you are traveling, the fare is usually $2.75. Visit the Metro Transit and Sound Transit sites for more detailed information about fares.
Driving to Campus
There is plenty of parking available for students, faculty, and staff driving their personal vehicles to campus. Parking instructions and maps of available parking spaces can be found on the Parking page.
