A transcript is a record of student grades and credits, and any classes taken for credit at DigiPen will appear on one’s transcript. There are a variety of reasons students or alumni may need to access their transcripts, including degree verification when seeking employment.

The request process for official transcripts differs from the process used to obtain unofficial transcripts, so be sure you know the type of transcript you need.

Official Transcripts

Official Transcripts are certified documents processed and sent through an approved service. These transcripts include all courses completed and a graduation date, if applicable.

Students and alumni can request official transcripts through National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Through this vendor, transcripts are processed faster and more securely with multiple options for mailing and the ability to add documents to your transcript mailing requests.

Payment can be made via a credit or debit card. Transcripts can be either emailed or sent through regular mail. Electronic transcript delivery is set at $3.90, and rates for physical delivery are available on the vendor’s website.

Contact NSC with any technical issues or questions at transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts can be generated through Colleague Self-Service. Students who are not in Colleague cannot order unofficial transcripts and must use National Student Clearinghouse to request an official transcript.

Contact the registrar’s office with any questions about transcripts at registrar.us@digipen.edu.
