In a new ranking of the 50 best colleges in America for computer science and engineering by tech news site Business Insider, DigiPen Institute of Technology rounds out the list at the No. 50 spot.
Noting DigiPen’s wide-ranging degree offerings and close proximity to major game and technology employers, the article puts DigiPen in company with several high-profile public and private institutions.
“From the very beginning, DigiPen has proven that students learn extremely well when given the freedom and opportunity to apply their academic knowledge toward meaningful projects that align with their creative interests,” Dr. Xin Li, Dean of Faculty at DigiPen, said. “Considering that this year marks the 15th anniversary of our first graduating class, it’s encouraging to see the positive impact our alumni have already begun to make in their professional endeavors around the world.”
