DigiPen Institute of Technology is pleased to announce an official partnership with Andretti Autosport for the 2016 INDYCAR season.
Using data analysis and visualization software developed by the alumni and faculty of DigiPen’s Research and Development group, the Indianapolis-based racing team will be looking to achieve victory for its stable of drivers, including Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Carlos Munoz, and Alexander Rossi.
“We are really pleased to have DigiPen on board again for the 2016 season,” said Michael Andretti, CEO of Andretti Autosport. “DigiPen’s custom software solutions provide us with the tools that help drive competition and success.”
This marks DigiPen’s second season as a technology supplier for Andretti Autosport. DigiPen’s R&D team has been developing race strategy software for international racing competitions since 2006.
