The end of spring semester at DigiPen always arrives accompanied by the greatest day of the year — the Student Game Showcase. The annual grand unveiling provides a first look at trailers for the brand new games and projects student teams collaborated on throughout the year.
The Plato Auditorium played host to the premiere of DigiPen’s 2023-2024 projects, created by freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate-level students.
Both on-campus and online, the Dragon community joined showcase hosts and junior game project instructors Doug Zwick and Andy Kaplan to watch this year’s dazzling display, which featured dance-battling worms, a noble frog knight, and an FPSH (first-person sticky hand) game. Dragons also got a peek at student art projects and animated shorts as well, treating viewers to enchanted butterflies, evil eyes, magical girl transformations, and more.
Dig into all the DigiPen goodness by watching the full showcase below, and remember, if something catches your eye, playable downloads for many of these projects will be available on our Student Games showcase page and Steam publisher page soon!
