A girl named Robin and her robot sidekick Pell (or, his head at least) venture out into the forested remains of a decaying droid civilization. Explore the ruins and solve technological puzzles to find Robin’s brother, who mysteriously vanished on a week-long hiking trip searching for “a little bit of buried treasure.”
Disappointed by popular media’s representations of disabled characters and the tokenism that often accompanies it, lead narrative designer Harrison Barton decided that Elegy would be different. Robin, the main character, is missing her right arm, but rather than making that a focal point of the story or a primary part of her personality, the game only acknowledges her disability once when it’s necessary as part of the game mechanic.
